The server automatically finds a free port starting from 19001. If you need to use a specific port, you can add "packagerOpts": { "port": 8080 } to app.json.
Another thing known to sometimes cause to issues with CI servers is the number of workers used by Metro. On some CI services the operating system reports a larger number of CPUs than is available, causing Metro to start too many workers and hang. You can fix this by using the command line option --max-workers 1 with exp publish.

I've got the same issue. The port 19001 was occupied by another process. @Jdruwe check it - may be it's your cause.
Dear team, can you please clarify, whether it possible to specify different port?
