Replace the check with server roundtrip (https://github.com/BY-jk/sqlalchemy_exasol/blob/master/exa/pyodbc.py#L28) with a call to the DB API. Use SQLA standard logging to issue Error when DB-versions prior the supported are used.

Frankly, I have no Idea what a pull request is and how it would work. I have no experience with either git or GitHub...
