Did you modify the sample? I ran it not 20 minutes ago against my local fork. Something must either have been broken in the merge, or there's something strange on in your install. In either case I want to get to the bottom of it :)

I'm still confused by your original error. It looks like sse.js' comment message has been changed (did you patch it?). In either case, empty comments should be supported, so I'll fix that in the parser.

I couldn't reproduce it either. Perhaps @matzew is using an old version of node that behaves different than ours? (Assuming both @einaros and I are on 0.6.10 and @matzew on something older)
