😎 About Me:

I'm a passionate Software Engineer specializing in React, Next JS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and MySQL for full-stack app development and complex problem-solving. I've got over 2 years of professional experience in the tech industry, covering Next JS, React, TypeScript, Node, Elastic Search, MySQL, Python, as Full Stack Developer at Science Museum Group and previously my product management role at the Royal Academy of Arts' Digital Product and Infrastructure team.

Notable projects include working on the SMG's Collections Online 2.0 website, a significant revamp of a popular open-source API and web service, alongside the frontend interface used by hobbyists, researchers, and developers alike to explore a diverse collection of 500,000 items. Working closely with the tech lead and frontend developer, I played a key role in modernizing legacy code, fixing a backlog of bugs, introducing new frontend components and features, and enhancing accessibility. Additionally, I've contributed to various projects, including integrating generative AI into searches and consuming Wikidata through Q Codes.

At the Royal Academy of Arts, I worked on a Bloomberg-funded project aimed at refreshing their frontend, ensuring quality assurance through comprehensive testingβ€”from static checks to end-to-end scenariosβ€” ensuring industry and stakeholder standards were met before deployment.

I am an alumni of The Jump Digital School's 5-month Professional JavaScript + Dev Ops program.

With a background in the arts, I'm particularly interested in software engineering roles within this industry, though I remain open to opportunities across various sectors.
