Setting 'Preload' in Video Tag does not preload Flowplayer video about html5media HOT 4 CLOSED

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce your issue. IE8 with preload works fine for me.

Unfortunately, I can't. It's on a client's server. They are running IIS, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Additionally, I can not confirm whether the MP4 was encoded using "Optimize for web" in Handbrake. I know from past experience that has something to do with streaming. Not sure if that could affect things or not?

I'll try to set Flowplayer directly. Would this be the correct markup:

Or something like that. The idea is that you manipulate the config object, which is a standard flowplayer config, and then return the modified object.

Hi, setting the video to "Web optimized" in Handbrake during encoding successfully preloads the video in Flowplayer.
