IE 8 does not play video on Refresh about html5media HOT 4 CLOSED

I'm afraid I can't reproduce this issue. It works fine with both an empty
and a full cache on my IE8 test machine.

to be cleared again.

Just a black box where the video should play. Chrome and FireFox seem fine.

This is a great solution to making embedding video easy, thanks for providing it.

I have the same issue as mountainpaul; in fact, in IE 8 my videos on other pages will not play either until the cache is cleared. Then you can reload and play one more. Safari 5.06 and Firefox 8.0.1 work fine, except that I am going to open another issue regarding the autohide behavior of the contols.

Today I tried a different machine running IE 7 and it behaves the same way. I have videos on 5 pages at http://www.edwardsaquifer net and once you play one of them on any page, the others just appear as black boxes until you empty the cache and reload. Maybe this is why IE's market share is down to 20%. I also tried Chrome today and it works fine. In relation to issue 26, Chrome behaves as Safari...I wish they would all behave this way and just leave the toolbar visible until the video is played. Firefox and IE hide it, so you need to have a poster image.

I was able to resolve this by installing the latest version of Flash player.
