Add monospace/normal font toggle button about etherpad-lite HOT 11 CLOSED

to do this permanently for a pad we have to introduce pad options.... means that is more work than I expected. I might do it later

Making a start on this 2nite, think I should be able to get it done

I thought about a monospace M that toogles on the left side. Problem
is here that that it sends a message to the server and we need to save
this at the database. But you can supress the message, and do it till
this point

I have done the client side code, I don't know about adding a button.. I guess if people are techy enough they will either use the API, the jQuery plugin or know to suffix ?useMonospaceFont=true to the pad URL..

Today I gave pita some code that can be used to add advanced functionality to the editbar. The monospace icon should go in here if you need it in the UI. I would recommend you use the Parameter though IE http://beta.etherpad.org/p/test?useMonospaceFont=true

Would love to add this feature to etherpad lite. If you provide me with the code you prepared I maybe can add the feature. I added a button for switch the font style myself but I don't how to propagate this to the other clients.
