To save newly created Enriched layer in web map, we are using Update operation.But we need to

As discussed, here is the approach for GeoEnrichment:

• On click of “Customized Variable” link for a variable, a new tab will be opened with Data Browser Widget
• Need to pass default variables with window object and read them in newly opened tab
• When user selects new variables and click “OK” button, update the window object with the current selection and close the tab
• Follow the above step for selecting variables for others i.e. Population, Household etc
• “Reset Variable” will reset the currently selected variables to default state in the application window

Example:

• If user selects Population and clicks on “Customized Variable” then,
  • Pass default Population variables with the help of window object
  • Add/remove the variables if required, cart will be updated accordingly
  • On click of 'OK' button, update the window object with current selection and also the population array
  • This population array will help us to maintain the state when user clicks on population tab next time
  • Similarly we will maintain different arrays for “Households” and “Business”
  • On click of the “Enrich Layer” button the Population, Business and Household variables will be merged and passed to Enrich Layer process
