Add backup to AWS S3 about gdg HOT 6 CLOSED

@pingod I have a PR on this, waiting for that to get merged in. Should support S3, GS, Azure and SFTP. (Azure I haven't had a chance to test out)

I created a ticket for that a while back since wizzy had that feature, but wasn't sure if there was much interest. Old ticket here

I don't mind adding the feature if there's interest in it. Though I'd likely try to provide some generic layer which allows multiple cloud providers.

It just seemed like aws s3 sync source dest would do it, but the app can read/write directly from bucket if need be.

Sorry for the late reply, the backup feature is not a strong requirement for me, I can pass it to s3 through a shell script via aws cli to meet my needs as well.
Personally, I think it's up to you to add this feature, after all, there are still a lot of things to consider if the backup feature is to be complete.

I'm not sure I understand then. Is this a feature you're asking for? Or just asking as a curiosity? It seems like a simple shell script would address your needs, so I'm a bit confused about this ticket then.
