Instantiated an instance with 250GB EBS SSD memory (8GB local). IP address is 54.183.173.69.

Have gotten through most of the generic software installation, save the last RewriteEngine and Tomcat bits.
Have some worry about SSL availability (may require special installs on AWS Linux) and httpd.conf setup (where RewriteEngine, and maybe other http Directory and VirtualHost stuff, will go).

The generic software installation is done, Apache and Tomcat are working/available externally via IP address. (Allegrograph and BioPortal also working, but we'll address those in the 'ORR software' task.)
