[production][errs#show] Mongo::OperationFailure: too much data for sort() with no index about errbit HOT 5 CLOSED

We just received a whole lot of errors on our central errbit instance (http://errbit-central.heroku.com/errs)
Errbit itself is crashing with the above error, when I try to view these errors.

Fixed with an index for :created_at on Notice model.

I know it has been a while but i am experiencing the same problem. Would you mind telling us the exact commands you used from the mongodb console in order to resolve this as i am experiencing the same problem.

@ntmggr You need launch the rake task to add index on your MongoDB database :

rake db:mongoid:create_indexes
