extname getting ignored for templates but not layouts about express-handlebars HOT 4 CLOSED

@nfriedly make sure you set the same extname when registering the view engine with app.engine():
http://expressjs.com/api.html#app.engine

Also, be sure to use that same extname when setting the default "view engine" setting:
http://expressjs.com/api.html#app-settings

Setting them all to hbs (or with the leading dot: .hbs) will resolve your issue.

I'd been banging my head against the monitor on the issue for quite a while now. Thankfully, I looked into the closed bugs/documentation ides area, and noticed that it's "extname" not "extName".

I'm new to node/express, so I don't know if that's a conventional field name for file extensions, but if it's something unique to this module, you might want to point that out in the docs as other multi-word field names are camelCase. JMHO.

Anyways, awesome module - I appreciate all the work you've done!
