Final research paper submitted to the University of Connecticut - a comprehensive statistical analysis on how the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020 affected the proportion of Black people arrested in New York City.

bos_data_analysis

Worked in R to analyze a Boston Housing dataset. I explored the dataset, used the ggplot2 package to produce visualizations, and created a multiple linear regression model to predict median house values.

diabetes_classification

Used R to create a series of models to predict whether or not an individual is likely to have diabetes given a set of predictors, using a Diabetes dataset (768 obs. of 9 variables). Cleansed the data, created several visuals, and then selected the best model.

Used R to analyze an academic article on the association between having a skin disease and developing a psychological disorder. Looked at odds ratios, corrected for missing data, and replicated their logistic regression model for classification purposes. I also conducted a 20 minute presentation of my findings to a class of graduate students.
