A settings file is needed to configure various device specific settings (resolution, scale parameters, etc.)

Does QT have a generic way to report the active device name (manufacturer + model)?

Experimenting with embedding JSON file as Qt resource and using nlohmann-json for parsing:
hunter_add_package(nlohmann-json)
find_package(nlohmann-json REQUIRED)

Jason file embedding and parsing is working in facefilter example. This will need to be populated with application specific parameters.
