About I have recently return to Scotland, having previously been based in Geneva, Swizterland.

I'm a particle physics researcher, working on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN), where I use write software for ATLAS and undertake data analysis on the heaviest (known) particle in the universe! As my PhD approaches its conclusion, I am actively seeking exciting research and career opportunities. Please reach out if interested...

My physics research includes:

  • Phenomenology and measurement of spin properties of the top-quark in collider experiments.

       Read about our work in the ttZ channel here.

  • Measurements of quantum information at the LHC!
  • Deep learning techniques for fast particle detector simulation.
  • Probing the Standard Model Effective Field Theory using top-quark measurements.

Currently also interested in:

  • Geometric machine learning techniques
  • Building data-scientific and scientific tools using Python, Julia and C++.
