@Lagrang3 will a fix make it into 23.11? renepay is unuseable for me until this gets fixed. Every payment that doesnt succeed instantly and needs to try a few routes ends in a crash.

@daywalker90, unfortunately we are too late for 23.11. I haven't been able to reproduce or find the source of the bug. We'll make it for v24.02!

that's weird it happens quite alot for me. What does you testing environment look like? I tested this on testnet with a node with 40+ channels and paying to the testnet boltz service.

Maybe you are running a production testnet node so we may want to run some more stress tests on the plugin itself. Do you have any more information on the node status?

Not sure what information you are looking for? Its on 23.11rc1, uses default sqlite, testnet, with bitcoind 25.0. It's available over clearnet and tor. Some non-default configs that might be relevant here:

max-concurrent-htlcs=10
cltv-delta=140
htlc-minimum-msat=1

After #7125, this bug shouldn't exist. There was a huge code refactoring, so maybe there will be new bugs, but not this old one.
