Hi,
I've never seen this happen before. Especially not at the start of the sync.
I'll setup a docker environment and see what happens my end.
In the meantime, can you please change your log level back to 0 (default) and see how long syncing is taking. If sync takes a long time still, you could download the blockchain bootstrap which is up-to around block 45,000. This can be downloaded and imported using the "electroneum-blockchain-import".

I just synced the whole blockchain for the first time and I don't have the 4-5 min pauses under Linux, this may be specific of docker release.

Having the same problem on Mac. Started sync at

Now at:
