Hi I just checked it on my self hosted runner with a fresh run. My project uses py3.11 and after the run the freshly created toolscache had [email protected] and [email protected].
tl;dr: The latest python version is installed by default.
If you do not use that in your project another version is downloaded when you run rye sync.
I will change that in the future.
Since the repo needs to be checked out before this action runs it has access to the .python-version file. So it can only install the fitting toolchain.
