I'm sorry nobody has responded to this yet. I personally use the BGP (border gateway protocol) managed by Hurricane Electric [1] to find the IP addresses. This can search all of the autonomous systems worldwide and view their peers and allocated subnets. Happy digging.

Here is some information about it: http://security.stackexchange.com/questions/113044/how-to-identify-a-companys-public-network-address-range
In summary, there are no simple methods that reliably give you a result for any given organization. There are various tools you can use, but often you need a starting point like one of their IP addresses.
(I just noticed this is an old issue, but I hope it will still be helpful to new readers.)

Hey,
I created an anon bot instance for a university in Australia, Swinburne.
They seem to have their own AS but don't use it, instead opting for AARnet's AS. Is this problematic for me to get an accurate IP range?
The current range I'm using can be found here: http://www.tcpiputils.com/browse/domain/swinburne.edu.au
Thoughts?
