Hi @Lenostatos,

This is the code handling the change in your example:

// setup
const props = defineProps({ ...rendererProps<ControlElement>() });
const { control, addItem } = useJsonFormsArrayControl(props);

const addItemBaz = () => {
  console.log('JsonForms state before adding item: ', control.value);
  addItem(props.path, 'baz')();
  console.log('JsonForms state after adding item: ', control.value);
};

It must be adjusted to

const props = defineProps({ ...rendererProps<ControlElement>() });
const { control, addItem } = useJsonFormsArrayControl(props);

const addItemBaz = () => {
  console.log('JsonForms state before adding item: ', control.value);
  addItem(control.value.path, 'baz')(); // control.value as we are within "setup"
  console.log('JsonForms state after adding item: ', control.value);
};

In most cases you will not want to access the props directly besides handing them over to the JSON Forms composition.
Have a look at our implementations of the Vue renderers.

Thank you very much for your help @sdirix ! I can't even remember how I got the idea that I should use props.path but for some reason I didn't question that bit of the code at all 🙈

No problem :) Maybe you looked at the React renderers as they get the already transformed props directly instead of mapping them themselves. Therefore they access props.path.
