Will not open on Mac OS X 10.7.2 about lic HOT 2 OPEN

Will not open on 10.6.8, or at least not for me.

To open LIC under Mac OS X you should create lic_errors.log file in the root 
directory before. This can be done with Terminal:

sudo touch /lic_errors.log
sudo chown 501 /lic_errors.log

First command creates file, second one changes its permissions (otherwise LIC 
wouldn't write to it). Then LIC starts it tries to create this file but because 
from 10.7.0 app can't create any file in the root LIC crashes.
Anyway under Mac OS X LIC is very-very slow. This problem is Qt or PyQt 
specific. And I suggest to install Windows to the Boot Camp partition and use 
win version of LIC (which is much faster).
