Agree 100%.
my "_home page" (AKA LinkedIn http://linkedin.com/in/nelsonic) has had a _Recommended Reading List for a while but these are non-technical books...
also tweeted a list of books a few of times:

and Had a JS-focussed list at: https://github.com/nelsonic/learn-javascript
But so far not made a good list other people _tick off_ against (and _add_ to!) #mybad 😦
(sometimes I _assume everyone already knows everything_ by osmosis ... #fail)
@iteles do you want to kick things off by starting a list with your Top Five _Recommended Reading_?

But this easily could go into hundreds so we need a way of voting/prioritising...

We also need a way of not overwhelming people with a reading list a mile long! 📖

#GreatMinds 😜
I've always thought it should be gamified and people should un-lock levels of learning...
@tonydaly might have some insight on this. 🚀

Should we move this to: https://github.com/dwyl/alc ?
from start-here.
Yes! For now it should be an md linked into the readme, which we should absolutely also link to from the readme in start-here.
