Sorry to hear that you have received an unwanted email.
The emails shown in the issue were not sent on behalf of the open-source project which is tracked in this repo, but the related Duplicati Portal.
We simply wanted to connect with the users that would consider this update interesting, and the recipients were selected with that objective in mind. It appears we have not been vigilant enough with obtaining consent for all recipients.
Generally, if you have received an unwanted email, please use the standard unsubscribe feature in your email client or respond with "unsubscribe" to the email.
