Games not appearing in list about gearboy HOT 8 CLOSED

You are the first one to report such a thing.
Did you try reinstalling the app?
It could be a problem with permissions in the roms folder.
Does the rom appear if you download and open it from other apps like safari or Dropbox? If not, the app may not have the rights to write to that folder.

Yeah, I re-installed the app, same issue.

The rom appears when I open it with different emulators (But I'd rather play it on Gearboy 1.4)

If the latter is true, how can I get the rights to write files to that folder?

Use a file manager.
Make sure your roms are placed here: /var/mobile/media/ROMs/GAMEBOY
And have this folder the permissions set to 777

Never mind, I fixed it. For some odd reason, when I installed gameboy4iphone and started downloading roms and opening them on Gearboy, the games appeared on the list.

I am having a similar issue-- I have installed several ROMs from coolrom and none of them appear in Gearboy. iOS 6.1.6. I have reinstalled Gearboy 3 times. And tried reinstalling ROMs as well.

Try installing GBA4ios (beware this will overwrite Gearboy in the meanwhile). Download all of the gameboy roms that you want and open them with GBA4IOS. After you've obtained the preferred roms, re-install Gearboy 1.6 once more and respond if it works.

I had actually installed GBA4IOS first... Then downloaded the ROMs then installed Gearboy. The games appear in GBA4IOS but not Gearboy.
