Did you create a custom circuit? Just a few parts some wires, a ground node. Save as tst (add no extension!). Try to reload from Files > Recent files. See your terminal for issues.
I get ** (oregano.bin:2965): WARNING **: Unknown type of file can't open

I think I found the origin of the problem. In Marc's branch, file
data/mime/oregano.xml.in/usr/share/mime/packages/oregano.xml/usr/share/oregano/mime/oregano.xml.inoregano.xml.in in oregano.xml, then change the ctx.options.prefix_mime oregano/mime/ with mime/packages (which is probably dirty as this install also oregano.keys.in in) in wscript, but this works,I can open new created files now.If you make change in wscript, please don't forget to update
VERSION with 0.8.3from oregano.

Unable to reproduce, probably fixed since #15 is fixed too. Re-open if the bug reappears.
