I cannot install doptor on a fresh install of laravel.

Composer is not able to satisfy all requirements as doptor required "laravel/framework": "4.1.* but laravel/framework is at 4.3.x.

EDIT: tried to include doptor in laravel's composer.json. did not realize doptor was a self contained, fork of laravel.

I've done the following steps without a problem:
Download or checkout the latest copy of Doptor from here (https://github.com/Doptor/Doptor)
Enter the newly created folder. e.g.: cd Doptor
Install the required dependencies with composer. composer install --no-dev
Copy the checkout folder to your web server

But I only get a blank page when I run localhost/Dopter/pubilc/ or localhost/Doptor

Where am I going wrong?

Multiple form need to save multiple table for module. After create a module using some form, for all form need different list and add new interface. For each form need each table in database. And drop in I can assign previously created any module or form.

At the new dropdown can I add existing data source. Means I have client module in list, in the invoice form/module how I can bring the client list at dropdown.

After configuring the database and seeing that it can connect, and filling in admin user information, running the install results in an error "Class 'CreateCategoriesTable' not found".

This sounds a lot like #1 but it is still occuring.

Have tried to do

composer install --no-dev
got fails to install dependencies

I wonder if you have removed the additional ERP modules, such as invoicing, accounting etc. I don't see them anywhere. Can you please confirm their status?

I strongly recommend to bring back the laravel default directory public. Easy to do and better security with almost no effort!

Great for this cool CMS. I look forward to contribute and use it for my future projects. However, while trying to get my hands on Doptor, the installation fails because of "CreateCategoriesTable class not found" - probably migration is missing.

I had dig into the migrations, and haven't found anything on it. So, I am bit worried how it is even trying to find this class.

Let me know if I am missing something.

If i upload a profile pic from backend, it works fine...but it doesn't show the pic in the admin panel..it shows blank pic.. so i update pro pic from admin panel it works fine but the pic of the backend doesn't appear anymore,it shows blank pic..so i check the edit option which shows the pic is there with a new name but it doesn't appear in the left corner.if i again update here,the profile pic of admin panel get vanished.Will you please check the problem.?.I ve just installed it and found that problem..In your demo app it works fine too.. thanks in advance

Unable to change database connection details

I installed doptor on my local machine and it works well. Now I've uploaded it to the live server on a shared hosting and I'm now forced to use a different database name and user password. I've edited config/database.php with the new details but i get an error message showing that i'm still trying to connect with the old username and password. I've cleared the cache and all but i still get the same error.

Is there somewhere else i need to change the details?
Do we only specify the details during the initial installation?

I just install Doptor CMS, the installation was fine and the backend is working fine, but the admin is showing error, what can i do

I can not add any image when I try to create new page.
whenever I try to add any image system give me the following error.

I want to have a look at your CMS so I went to your demo website but there is no tips on the usernames and passwords for the Admn and Backend parts, can you provides them so we can check the whole CMS.

Any form need to link from public section. In this regards we must have captcha and data save in specific table and also we can set email to sent.

So easily our end user create any online form such as contact us, registration form etc.

Not sure why, but it looks like you're manually establishing a connection using mysqli. Why not use the built-in laravel functionality? At least mention mysqli in the readme. I was expecting that my laravel capable host would work for doptor.

I created a new theme but all layouts, views and assets are taken from the default theme. Entry in database is the new dir and I replaced all occurrences of "/default/" in layouts/views.

$this->current_theme is the new name ...

PS: If not forgot to use "php artisan cache:clear"

i reinstalled doptor, and then i open the site got the error msg:
SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'doptor.slideshow' doesn't exist (SQL: select * from slideshow order by created_at desc)

I just installed doptor, including the sample data, but when I'm adding a new page, I get this error:

I'm sure I'll figure out what to do, but you might want to improve the exception handling there.

I just see, I can delete the form category without any issue, resulting in error in form builder. It needs to be deny if category is already in used.

I'm adding HTML into the text editor (Description) for different pages of my website. I've realised that when I add the HTML for the first time it all works fine. When I edit the page for the second time even if I'm just editing the title, specific tags in the description part get removed and sometimes they get wrapped into paragraphs. This makes it impossible for me to use the cms capabilities of Doptor.

here is an example:
I add the following html code:

After saving for the first time, all seems to work fine. But then when I come back to edit the page. Upon saving tags get removed completely. This is how it look like after saving the second time:

I have seen on github there is code updated,
but when i tried with composer update that only update symphony or others lib,
not the doptor code.

So how to update the doptor core code,

artisian scaffold created (controller,model , views ) as new module in doptor.

I have installed the Doptor again as mantioned the problem with add image to page and post has been solved, but I have the following error whenever I try to add new image to page or post.

Intervention \ Image \ Exception \ NotWritableException
Can't write image data to path (uploads/posts/thumbs/doptor profile.png)

please advice.

I've tried to install it twice locally, and the installation went fine, but when I'me trying to login in both admin and backend, I'm told that my username or password are wrong, and then I am banned for 10 minutes.
What could be the problem?

Form builder is awesome! However, while creating form, it doesn't ask to input form title, and always gets saved with "No Name"

I will patch this ASAP!

During composer update to install doptor i can see "Ambiguous class resolution problem" error and doptor is not working. Check below images.

Am I crazy when I look at the folder structure, naming conventions, mvc model, and logo and think this is an abstraction of joomla stand alone framework?

When create new post, page the field "create_at", "update_at" don't generate automatic.
It get default value: 0000-00-00 00:00:00

The latest commit left an invalid set of dependencies.

The robclancy/presenter package version 1.2.* requires the Illuminate/View/Environment.php file, which is only available up to Laravel 4.1. This file was removed in Laravel 4.2. The robclancy/presenter package version 1.3.* was updated to work with Laravel 4.2.

Therefore, if working with Laravel 4.2, the robclancy/presenter package needs version 1.3.*. If working with Laravel 4.1, the robclancy/presenter package needs version 1.2.*.

Composer install will work fine, but you get a Class 'Illuminate\View\ Environment' not found exception during the application install.

i install doptor first in my web server, when i open the url: http://www.mydomain.com
i got this error msg:

When create new post, page or other module using Media Manager (MM). We have big issue.
When upload, MM will create a new file name and store it.
But when we click to image it for using. it return file default name.
Example: i have image: abcd.jpg
when i upload it to folder: images MM will create new name such as: abcd_XYjhUw.jpg
But when i click to this image for use, it return url: uploads/images/abcd.jpg
It isfails, it must be uploads/images/abcd_XYjhUw.jpg
Pls check and fix this issue.

env.php (configuration file) currently in outside. It should be inside config file database.php, Also move more necessary file from root.

Users, Menus, Slideshow, Page, Post, etc link from Media Manager.
