ECS: Is there a way to deploy on existing loadbalancers, target groups and rules? about compose-cli HOT 4 OPEN

I have a tool that focuses on having ECS + Compose compat, taking over in a way from ecs-cli (v1) and adding a more CFN oriented integration to add resources (lbs, rds, etc.) called ECS Compose-X.

I have an integration with x-elbv2 but so far only has creation of new ELB (NLB or ALB), not lookup of existing ones.

Every other resource (RDS, S3 etc.) do have a Lookup Feature.
So I'd be very curious to get your input on what would the "import" of existing LB/TGT Groups would look like and what you'd want to do with these?

I'd imagine for ALB, lookup an existing one, and adding more listeners?
For existing LB + Listeners, adding new rules to new Target groups ? (new services)

Is that what you are trying to achieve?

Basically just adding new rules + target groups to existing loadbalancers, yes.
We share loadbalancers between a lot of apps. Additional loadbalancers would just add costs and complexity without any benefit.
