permissions don't seem to be inherited about django-guardian HOT 1 CLOSED

There is django-guardian googlegroup at https://groups.google.com/group/django-guardian
however I suspect you should try django-users list as issue you've mentioned is not related with guardian itself.

Permissions are managed by Django itself, django-guardian only uses hooks available since 1.2 (http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/releases/1.2/#object-level-permissions).

Reopen if you still think it's a guardian's related and please provide more description.

I'm not sure what do you mean by superclass's Meta.permissions - is that something like this:

WSMRTask.__bases__[0]._meta.permissions

? If so, this is strange (as part before ._meta should point to your superclass GridTask) and you should definitely ask about this at django-users list. If you meant subclass (which would be WSMRTask here) then it's standard way of handling meta information for Django (see docs).
