@walec51
I have exactly the same issue.
But after specifying the following parameter, the problem was settled.
databaseProductName = <your database name> (e.g. Oracle12)
More detail, see #40
from jpa-schema-gradle-plugin.
Same here with 0.3.6: kotlin.KotlinNullPointerException (no error message)
generateSchema {
vendor = "hibernate+spring"
packageToScan = setOf("com.xxx")
format = true
}
from jpa-schema-gradle-plugin.
@walec51 @spyro2000
Please set hibernate.dialect
into properties
or databaseProductName
generateSchema {
vendor = 'hibernate+spring'
packageToScan = [ 'pl.myapp']
// example to use MariaDB 10.3 or above
databaseProductName = 'MariaDB'
databaseMajorVersion = 10
databaseMinorVersion = 3
}
or
generateSchema {
vendor = 'hibernate+spring'
packageToScan = [ 'pl.myapp']
// example to use MariaDB 10.3 or above
properties = [
'hibernate.dialect': 'org.hibernate.dialect.MariaDB103Dialect'
]
}
Please see DialectFactoryTest.java to choose databaseProductName
, databaseMajorVersion
, and databaseMinorVersion
, or see org.hibernate.dialect package to choose hibernate.dialect
.
let me know if error still exists.
