Also, I had lots of trouble with csfml (it's not provided by brew
). Is there a way to compile the examples that don't rely on it?

I’ve just modified the Makefile. You can do the following to compile the 3d examples only (2d demo require csfml):
make examples3d_deps
make examples3d
Btw, sorry for the poor quality of my makefiles… I am actually waiting for cargo to support --cfg
and --opt-level
to get rid of those makefiles, and switch to cargo.

No worries! Just trying to get things built - hopefully I can show something at the meetup tonight.

yeah still failing on -lglfw
:(

Oh, yeah, I forgot to remove the useless -C link-args=-lglfw
.
It should work now.

I have to go to sleep now, I hope the 3d examples compile.
Have a good time at the meetup, and thanks for mentioning my libs!
By the way, if you want to interact with the demos (like grabbing some objects to throw them around), run any of them with --help
to see a list of commands (ah, and, currently, pressing 3
with crash the program instead of throwing a box…).
