Yes I am aware of structured data, infact, we try to add a suggestion that you can follow the structured data if it is found. (when using the "json/text difference" processor)
Yes structured data could be better, in the case that the correct LDJSON data is discovered the application will ask you if you want to follow that instead.
The watch list would then show Embedded price data detected, follow only price data?
, however, the website URL fails this test, because 'application/ld+json'
was not found in the document
But actually that's a great idea to make the app use the LDJSON structured data for the 'restock detection' processor as its primary source, and then fallback to scraping the text for certain keywords.
However this wouldnt address what you've wrote here - still looking into it :)
