Summery/update: This PR needs to be merged into rspec-puppet to fixed the dependency hell described here and here. Once that's done, I can stop using this fork and move back to the official rspec-puppet.

I've been slowly, politely agitating to get rspec-puppet maintained (it's not being maintained, no PRs merged since Dec. 2nd 2014). Had a good conversation about options on the #puppet-dev IRC channel, will link once it's archived. Might finally be making some progress.

Making good progress. After a number of discussion with Puppet community folks, there seems to be non-trivial support for transferring rspec-puppet to the Puppet Community project. I've raised an issue against rspec-puppet to centralize the transfer-related discussion.

Great success! The incredibly-long-standing PR we've been using pre-merge has been merged. We should now be able to move back to official rspec-puppet. Removing #blocked tag.
