Dev Connector is a MERN stack application that includes authentication, profiles, and forum posts. The back-end API is designed with Node.js and Express. The endpoints are protected with JWT and extensive route testing was done with Postman. The front end was designed using React and Redux for state management. Testing for Redux was done with the Chrome Redux tools.

Two defined get routes including a single api fetch to display natural events by category and second get route pull the favorites from our database. Our post route allows users to insert their tracked events into the SQL database that, that seeded information includes the user_id, title (of the natural event), and the original date of the natural event.
