I confirmed this bug for QT 5.7. In the version QT 5.6 it works fine.

Would you please send me the test code copy via email (devbean#outlook.com)? I have tested using a simple application on Qt 5.7 OpenSUSE gcc 64 and it works fine.

@vasvlad Yes, the code from Qt 5.7 has changed a lot. That's why I decided to copy code from Qt private to this plugin -- in order to avoid changing our code a lot when Qt changes. If you copy from Qt directly, everyone is OK, I think I should take a look at these new code to find out why the segment fault happens.

I think this bug has been fixed in branch release/1.0 . I'm closing this issue. Please reopen it if there is any problem about this.
