From memory: before release, the unit was being used for TOSTimer on Linux, however it was discovered that it was not necessary, since functions that are actually included with Delphi could be used.
Is there something that uses the epoll functions that you need help with?

I want to find which the best solution to handle thousand connection as i know in linux epoll is the best one... but iam not sure is that right...?
