#22 (Daily digest mail) would encourage people to fill out their hours daily. I think it's important to stimulate that because it's so easy to forget what you did exactly a few days ago.
What is on the roadmap though is ordering the Project and Category fields by how many times you've entered them, so that your top project would be on top.
We could remove the empty item in the select box and you would basically get what you're asking :)
