Thanks for the report.
I'm a bit drunk right now, so I'm by no means sure, but wouldn't the right solution be to use results.sort(reverse=not ascending), seeing as ascending=True means "worst results first"?

But the default value for ascending is False.

No, you're completely right. I'd forgotten that I'd already inverted the score for sorting. Ironically that was intended to prevent confusing myself in exactly this manner…
