You may have missed the notes in the code issue description, about which code we can accept for bug reports. You can find the required details under the "IMPORTANT" section.
FYI: what you provided is hard to setup, hard to debug, and not limited to pagy itself, so we couldn't even be sure it's a pagy problem rather than your own code problem. That's the reason for the "IMPORTANT" section.
In order to reproduce a pagy problem you need a lot less code and gems. Please, start from a pagy app and add the minimum that makes it fail.
