Running into similar issue. Maybe apply date range when storing stats in redis -- store only stats data for last x months/days/year. Is that possible?

I've posted a potential solution for this issue at #107.

You also should note that it also never actually worked. It would crash while trying to load in the page.

@davydovanton and just to clarify, our usage of sidekiq entails processing around 2 million workers per day.

@davydovanton have you looked into this?

I also have a busy sidekiq app, processing more the 2M jobs per day, i am hesitant to try it out.

@danarnold @jclusso have you found a different statistics gem that worked well?

+1 I just tracked down out out of control memory growth to this feature. The timeliest in middlewear.rb doesn't expire...

We were burned by this as well, much smaller volume, but the the stat lists in Redis had us constantly running at the top of our memory usage

I`ll close this issue considering it leads to a first approach to the problem and we have that other one with a further discussion around it.
