Hi, I think the workaround introduced by @xiamujiademao should solve the issue and by what I'm seeing it could be extended further to even introduce a custom decorator or something of sorts.

I'm not sure this should be solved by the lib itself. If I see more interest to this issue down the road I may reconsider, but closing for now due to lack of resources and priority.
