We ended up postponing this but this time for real we are going to implement this in the following weeks, sorry for the inconvenience 🙏

Thanks for reporting this :) Indeed, we need to add Alma Linux and Rocky Linux to the list of OSes that are treated as RedHat-like for them to be supported. We should be making the changes in the following weeks.

Any update on this? With CentOS 8 non-Stream being EOL we're currently migrating everything to RockyLinux.
