ok - are there any irregularities in your device manager? also, do you have
applications running which require exclusive access to the soundcard?

can you try to delete the soundcard in the device manager, then "scan for new
hardware", and then delete the device again until windows runs out of drivers
to
install? after that, reboot, install the driver from this site, open
cmicontrol.exe,
press apply and reboot again.

Yes, it's helpful! So what there was a problem? It was a bug in the driver?

that's a bug of windows - the settings from the old drivers weren't deleted
properly
so they blocked the driver from this site. anyway, great to hear that it works
-
I'll put an entry about this in the FAQ when I have some more time. Also,
thanks for
reporting!

When I apply parametres through system sndvol32.exe after reboot they are not
saved,
and are saved only if I apply them in CMICONTROL.exe and press "Apply". Why so?
Can make you the special program which will remove all old data about a card
from
system, and will prepare it for normal job of your driver?

that's because the driver can't save its settings on system shutdown because
the
registry API is unseemingly disabled - another design "improvement" to decrease
the
shutdown times.
the setup application should take care of removing the old drivers, but it
somehow
failed on your system.
