Originally this was created to implement Elastic Tabstops in Notepad++ and most of the people ending up here were coming from that site.
The readme does link to the homepage for Elastic Tabstops, which in my opinion describes it better than I ever could. That being said adding an example or two certainly wouldn't hurt. I had created a couple example gifs for the forum quite a while ago but not sure I have them any more.
Any updates to the readme would be appreciated.
