You can contact me at the same user name on the Paradox forums as well through GitHub if you want to discuss more about HoI4 modding. I have a fair extent of knowledge from my own work in it.

Also, the paradox wikis do a fairly decent job documenting much of the scopes, triggers, and effects, though there are gaps in knowledge.

Hi @CaesarVincens, thanks for that, I actually don't have the latest version of HOI4 installed so trigger docs is handy!

I'll happily take you up on your offer to help. Once I've got the above bits of information I can implement the basic support for HOI4. But to get the good features (validation of all files, intelligent completion) requires a fair bit of work from someone who understands the game's specific files.

Thankfully, it's something that can be done piecemeal (adding support for just one folder in common at a time (just ship designs for example)).

I'll get in touch on the forums with some more info :)
