emojis not displayed in results about phinde HOT 3 CLOSED

Emoji is in elasticsearch, the "text" field.

But we use highlight.text for display.

We would need an emoji-aware tokenizer to make emojis work in highlighted text, see https://jolicode.com/blog/search-for-emoji-with-elasticsearch

The plugin https://github.com/jolicode/emoji-search/tree/master/esplugin is only ES5+, and I'm running ES2.

The last idea would be to fall back to the source text if no text highlight is in the result hit object, but that would return the full text for all found documents.. that might be toooooo much.

Using ElasticSearch's own ICU analyzer did not work because ES 2.0.2 crashes whenever you use an invalid analyzer..
