Hey,

Just asking tentatively—I’ve not poked through the fiddle fully yet—could you not utilise/bend the _flexbox.scss object to achieve similar?

Hi, thanks for the response

I had a look through the flexbox scss and I wasn't 100% sure how it was intended to be used, and it didn't seem to work on the fiddle. I could take another look I guess.

Would love to know your thoughts on why "it’s not something I necessarily agree with" - pros and cons - that sort of thing. I really can't seem to find a better way of achieving the design goal without it, but I don't want to use something that's considered bad practise or anything.

Cheers

Doh! Ignore the line 'Would love to know your thoughts on why "it’s not something I necessarily agree with"' - I just noticed that was from another issue - my inbox is crammed :-)

Hah, no worries. I’ll look into this one though :)

Ok, I've looked at the flexbox more closely.

It wasn't working before because of the need for an extra wrapper. Looking at my previous fiddle, I've now gone back and added an extra flexbox class (outer) and added the border spacing to the main class:

I’m gonna close this for now, but if I work out a nice way of equal-height columns I’ll be sure to include it :)

Ok, fair enough.
The fiddle does work, though - it just shows it needs an extra container to offset the border-spacing with negative margins.
Would be great if you could come up with a better way though :-)

Cheers
