I’ve not had chance to read this thoroughly but regarding the .small and the lists’ margins:

1. There is no .small in inuit.css, only .smallprint, milli. and .micro. This is why this hasn’t worked.
2. The lists only have margins removed if they are children of list items. As far as I can glean from your screenshots this isn’t the case (I have a demonstrable example of it working).

If the above two points answer your issues would you mind reopening an issue which contains just the encoding issue and I’ll look at that as soon as I can :)

Thanks for the info, that sounds like valuable knowledge. Do you have a blog anywhere you could write that stuff up?
