Hi pmeyers!
Actually that is part of the built in functionality of AnythingSlider. If you add a solitary object (a lone div) the scripting automatically expands it to 100% width and height to fit the slide. So if you want to prevent this, just wrap your solitary div (red block) in a generic div. This may seem silly, but it allows you to just add images or videos of any size to the slider and have them automatically fit.

That fixed it! I am very, very, very impressed by the quality of not only AnythingSlider but the speed and thoroughness of your support. Instead of just telling me to RTFM, you explained it and it makes sense. I really appreciate it.
