Apparently, the error was related to the different behaviour on the last versions of OSX on notify lib the lib wasn't handling correctly the events and it was fixed by in library itself. So was just a matter of updating it. :)
I'm going to release a new version with this fix.

for me, it triggers twice.

Hey @hu13 I'll have to take a look. I don't use the watcher as much as I used to. I'll take a look this weekend tho 😄
