To set the cache retention period for Coroot, you can use the CACHE_TTL environment variable, which is set to 720 hours or 30 days by default.

corootCE:

      value “168h” # 7 days

To set the data retention period for Clickhouse (otel_traces and otel_logs tables), you can configure the opentelemetry-collector.config.exporters.clickhouse.ttl_days setting:

opentelemetry-collector:
  config:
    exporters:
      clickhouse:
        ttl_days: 1

Unfortunately, the value of the setting is only applied the first time the exporter creates the tables.
Therefore, you should manually alter the tables yourself:

ALTER TABLE otel_traces MODIFY TTL toDateTime(Timestamp) + toIntervalDay(1);
ALTER TABLE otel_logs MODIFY TTL toDateTime(Timestamp) + toIntervalDay(1);
